I use Tiny Media Manager to manage my videos and this folder. I have a folder for TV shows (as does everyone I guess). Since already the scrapers "The Movie Database" and "Universal Movie Scraper" seem to be affected, this could be a general problem. I suggest to reduce the maximum number of fanart images and to check the length of the queries for the scrapers. Since no message is given in Kodi, it took me some time to figure this out. "Family Guy", "Rick and Morty", "Walking Dead". The error occurs only for shows with very much fanart, e.g. This error was also described before for the universal movie scraper in this forum and in a German Kodi forum. Once I remove the options "get (extra) artwork.", scraping works fine. Error 1406 is "Data too long for column". I shortened the line, but is has over 100000 (one hundred thousand!) characters, since there are numerous preview images listed up. Query: Query: UPDATE tvshow SET c00='The Walking Dead',c01=. I activated the settings "get Artwork from " and "get extra artwork from ".Īfter manually updating the information from the folder of a tv show ("The Walking Dead"), the information window stays empty (no description, no posters or artwork). I configured the tv shows folder from the Netflix addon to contain tv shows, and set up the scraper "The Movie Database", which I think was set as default. The database is not shared with other clients. I use Kodi 18.0 with addons up to date: E.g. Shows with many fanart images on tvdb cause the scraper to try to insert all these images into a field of the MyVideos database, which is refused by the mySQL server. If I add a directory with tv shows to the library, only some of them are scraped. I stumbled over a potential bug in the The Movie Database Scraper. Many thanks for your time in reading this.apologies if I may have missed an incredibly simple link to this elsewhere, but I have genuinely drawn a blank until now Is this something that I can achieve another way? Whilst I have trawled through the settings I don’t believe I’ve missed an option to keep sets out of playlists. Rather than the multitude of individual movies included within the collection, it lists all of the Iron Man movies in their set, Captain America and Avengers are the same. However, I have a number of playlists that would look far better if all of the movies in it were shown as individual movies and NOT as part of a set.Ī good example is an MCU playlist recently created. it works really well for me and I wouldn’t be without it. I use the ‘sets’ feature to make tracking and finding movies that much easier in my main ‘Movie’ library. Whilst I appreciate some things may change on their own with my upgrade to 18.0, I have a little question regarding my current and potentially future setup that I haven’t been able to find with a simple search. Thanks in advance for any help.Įagerly awaiting the full release of Leia and also the upcoming MQ8 skin for it.whilst I could upgrade now to the RC, I want to be sure everything is fully ready and I don’t want to lose access to any of the great looking skin options I currently have with MQ7.Īs a long term XBMP/XBMC/KODI user, I have over the years managed to tweak my system to make it quite formidable as a video library system.not only does it manage my vast collection with ease but in it’s current guise it is also incredibly wife friendly (most of the time) Because of the error and permutations on naming I've attempted, I'm not sure what to do next. I replicated trying to update the library in TV shows and directly adding the episode from the video->source and getting the error I mentioned. Well enough to fix the problem if it is a problem. Quote:it was a source setting problem in Kodi, Kodi was searching for a TV Series called "TV Series". When trying to directly add the content through the video source browser, I get an error similar to: This is the TVDB site of the correct episode: I have also tried placing the video file in the root of the show's folder as well as in a 'Season 0' folder. I've been trying combinations of names listed within these threads including the year 2003 and with parentheses (2003), with periods '.' and with spaces ' ', placing the year at the end of the name and in the middles of the name. I've tried several variations on the pilot episode of the Battlestar Galactica Miniseries. Per: Incorrect_and_missing_videos#Video_title_wont_scrape (wiki)
